We provide hospice care wherever your loved one calls home — private residences, nursing home facilities, senior living facilities, and assisted living communities throughout Orange, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Lumberton, Vidor, Nederland, and surrounding areas. We also operate our own Residential Hospice Unit in Orange and a General Inpatient (GIP) Care Unit in Port Arthur for patients who need a higher level of around-the-clock symptom management.

Who Pays for Hospice?
Medicare covers hospice care as a full benefit for patients with a life-limiting illness — at little to no out-of-pocket cost to the patient or family. Most private health insurance plans and Medicaid offer the same coverage.
The Medicare Hospice Benefit covers skilled nursing visits, physician oversight, aide services, social work, chaplain care, therapy services, medications related to the terminal diagnosis, and all necessary medical equipment — delivered directly to wherever the patient calls home.
Our team will walk you through the eligibility and enrollment process at no charge. We believe financial concerns should never stand between a patient and the care they deserve.

Who Qualifies for Hospice Care?
Patients with a life-limiting illness and a prognosis of six months or less — if the illness runs its natural course — may qualify for hospice. Common qualifying diagnoses include, but are not limited to:
